Primavera P6 is a 5-week course for planners, schedulers, and project controls professionals who need to run schedules on real construction projects rather than just click through software menus. The course begins with schedule setup fundamentals, covering how to structure a new project correctly from the start, including calendars, WBS, and activity coding. From there it moves into activity creation and relationships, where you will learn to build out project activities and link them with the correct logic so the schedule actually reflects how the work will happen. Resource loading and cost management follow, teaching you how to assign labor, equipment, and material resources to activities and track cost against the plan. The course then covers baseline and progress tracking, showing how to set a baseline, update progress period by period, and read the resulting variance. It closes with schedule analysis and reporting, where you will learn to interpret critical path results and produce the reports that clients, contractors, and consultants actually expect to see. By the end of the five weeks, you will be able to build, update, and report on a live Primavera P6 schedule with confidence.
