About Course

Site Safety Management is a 3-week course for site supervisors, safety officers, and anyone responsible for day-to-day safety on a construction site. The course starts with the fundamentals of site safety, including the legal and regulatory requirements that apply to construction sites, before moving into hazard identification and risk assessment, where you will learn to recognize common site hazards and carry out structured risk assessments. Personal protective equipment and compliance are covered in practical terms, including how to select the right PPE for a task and how to run effective site compliance checks. The course then covers incident reporting, including the correct procedures to follow and how to investigate incidents properly so lessons are actually learned rather than simply filed away. The course closes with safety planning and toolbox talks, giving you the tools to build a working site safety plan and to run toolbox talks that site workers actually pay attention to. Compact and focused, this course is designed to give supervisors and safety officers practical, usable safety management skills in just three weeks of online study.
